1878-1884, Woman's Missionary Society minute book originally kept by Miss Clara Martin of Paris, Ky. This minute book has entries listing the officers and members of each chapter, financial reports, and chapter accounts of numerous Methodist auxillary groups throughout Central and Northern Kentucky. Chapters were formed in the following cities: Bryantsville, Campbellsburg, Caney, Carlisle, Carrollton, Covington, Cynthiana, Danville, Fern Creek, Flemingsburg, Frankfort, Georgetown, Goshen, Hebron, Hillsboro, La Grange, Lexington, Maysville, Millersburg, Mt. Carmel, Mt. Sterling, Nicholasville, Paris, Perryville, Providence, Quirey or Quincy, Richmond, Shelbyville, Simpsonville, Somerset, Stanford, Versailles, Williamstown, Wilsonville (?), Winchester, and possibly others. The minute book was later given to Mrs. W.T. Poynter (Science Hill Academy) of Shelbyville, Ky.
